Part 1 (Mainly Talking Heads)  and   Part 2 (The Performances)


The five judges: Grenville Jones, Sam Holliday, Clare Teal, Jason  Thornton and Joe Bennett
spent 5 minutes on each song dissecting, commenting and marking in front of a live audience of 400+ at the Forum in Bath. As a result of their marks, the following songs were nominated for prizes:

First Place: The Golden City by Charlie Groves

presented with a cheque for £1000 by Bath's Mayor, Councillor Shaun McGall)  


2nd Place
:
 Bath our Home our City our Pride by Mark White   


(
presented with a cheque for £500) 

3rd Place: Charmed by Warren Cole. 

(presented with a cheque for £250)  

Warren Cole was also awarded the Bath Spa University New Songwriting Prize by Joe Bennett.

(Note: The Top 2 places were announced first: The Golden City by Charlie Groves and Bath our Home our City our Pride by Mark White. The Audience Vote was then consulted, which went to Bath our Home our City our Pride, which gave this song one vote, but the judges then unanimously voted for The Golden City, making this song the winner. )
